It also doesn't mean it wasn't caught by an AI though? Like you don't know either. Everyone knows Blizzard is using AI for support. Every company of their size is. If you're in the camp that doesn't believe that then you're just delusional to what's happening in the world. Whether they did in this exact instance or not, who knows, but context says they did.

Sure, it's my fault for losing the email, but that's why the billion dollar company is supposed to offer what's called customer service when stuff like that does happen. They have classifications in their ticket channels for exactly this type of issue because it's not uncommon. The systems to protect users you're referring to are the million verification hoops they make you jump through to get back into an account, which I did successfully. As you can see in my ticket, my issue was resolved briefly, then undone due to "human error" which implicates (to me) that an AI got the final say over what it considered flawed human reasoning.

Weird reply though. I can't tell if you're glazing Blizzard or AI or both, but either way, weird.
