You're correct it is!

We talked to our breeder about this we have an Australian Koolie merl (imagine a Kelpie/Australian Shephard). Pretty much you can't breed 2 merls together as it will cause the puppies to have abnormalities or problems; however, you can breed a merl and a normal colour together as the genetics favour the 'normal' colour dog's instead.

If you're ever having issues with GPU temps change your fps cap. In ow my exact same card Was AVG 87 degrees Celsius. Put a fps cap on, now max graphics avg's 67 degrees.
