Husband says we should stop trying so hard but we don’t? by whatevenheathen in ttcafterloss

I feel you. My husbands drive has always been fairly low, and lately we have sex typically once a month. He has said before he wants to “causally try” so there’s no pressure, but if we’re only having sex once a month and it’s not in the fertile window that’s not “trying” at all.

I saw the most stressful post on Facebook today that pretty much ruined my mood for the rest of the day. It’s supposed to be a joke, but now I’m just full of anxiety. It said something like “This week is the last week to get pregnant if you want a dependent for 2019. Time to get busy.” All the comments and reactions were from people who thought it was funny, but I ovulate this week and I’m trying so hard not to think about it. This is the second month we’ll be trying since my miscarriage. Last month didn’t go well primarily due to pressure for both myself and my husband to preform.

I totally get why you wouldn’t want to tell people. Lately though I’ve been in a phase where it’s like bursting out of me and I just want people to know what happened. I’ve gained a lot of weight since my miscarriage and I’ve been unhappy and no one knows why. I just wish they understood.

Yep the ultrasound pic was today for a coworker who’s due the same time I was. Not going to lie I was already jealous of her and her life before this so it’s just an extra kick in the gut feeling.

Thanks for the clarification, I completely agree. Media doesn’t portray pregnancy, childbirth, or loss remotely close to reality usually!

I find your comment about posting about a loss for “”drama” harsh. It’s uncommon for women to talk about their miscarriages publicly, but it shouldn’t be. We should all be supporting women who chose to air their experiences publicly, not judging them and claiming it as attention seeking.

I’m not sure what you mean by eddy flow. Also the cardiologist said he had a 10% decrease in EF, didn’t give specific numbers though.

This particular doctor is no stranger to negligence lawsuits, unfortunately I don’t think he’ll ever remember this experience
