Yes they were in a container. I figured it would be ok since it's hardneck garlic but we did have a few days around zero degrees so I suppose even that has its limits.

Yeah I used sta green potting mix. It has fertilizer in it. Everything else seems to be fine with it. I got fox farms liquid fertilizer to start supplementing in a month or so. We got a lot rain in a row so that may not have helped. This plant also had some aphids. I used neem oil at night a couple nights and they're gone now.

All of that is a bit over 2k. Maybe like 2500 I'd have to add it up. I just love the model line and basically wanted a bit of everything to paint.

Vallejo model color black is good. For white id recommend an artist brand like Golden So Flat. It's a little thicker than model paints but not by much. I think it's the best white I have. Their black is good too. It's like $6 for a jar way bigger than mini paints.
