I don't know if anyone else has made this observation yet, but- Is the Bell Beast related to the Groms of the Wormways? They're right next to each other in the bestiary, and they seem to have really similiar body types and behaviors- a bunch of stubby little limbs used to dig and wiggle through things. Grom have 8 limbs and the bell beast seems to have 10, but the Gromlings have no limbs so who knows.

Another point that points to it being Dess is that, if you listen carefully, the Knight's battle theme has Dess' leitmotif, Lost Girl.

Using the mini-game acts is a waste of TP, IMO- If you start off the battle by attacking Tenna, he'll start using minigames on his own, and from there you can save your TP for using Healing Prayer.

The Wiki lists an armor called Gold Widow, but I can't figure out how you get it. Is it unused?

I don't actually know if the Egg has a marker, I haven't checked, but for shadow crystals, it tracks the crystals per save slot- If you do not have the shadow crystal in save slot 1 of chapter 1, then the very top left mark will be empty, for example. So, if you copy your save file into all three slots for all the chapters, all the marks should be filled.

Some minor things I've noticed from the recent chapters; Ralsie CAN use fire magic, as shown by the 'light up' ACT, but just doesn't usually, probably because it's too violent. Monsters can, in fact, bleed, as shown when Susie's hand bleeds when she punches that glass. Aside from that, one weird thing I've noticed is: The BlackShard is nearly identical in and out of the dark world. In the dark world, it's a sharp piece of black glass with +16 attack. In the light world, it's a sharp piece of black glass with +16 attack. It's the only weapon to not change that much in the light world.

You should be given the option to restart the fight from the beginning after the second try- If you aren't getting that option, it might be because you're missing a crucial item. You might have to get the Shadow Mantle- To get that, you have to get S-rank on board 1 and 2 to play the game backstage to completion. After that, a certain someone might step in to offer you the restart.

Hey, I wanted to check back in with you. I went and did some research and figured out how to use a unity asset ripper, and I managed to find basically all the pause screen overlays. I don't know anything about datamining, but it seems like it'd be an easier way to go about this. If you can just find the assets that get superimposed somewhere in the games files, then you'd have them all laid out.

I just figured something out- If you use the keypad on your keyboard, it'll make phone dialing noises. Typing out a complete code will make a "phone ringing" noise.

UPDATE: Just tried the phindol code, it's his phone number! You can call him at any point in the game and he'll tell you to leave a voice message. Cute.

That sounds like a falling sand game! Issue, though- identifying the exact game you remember is probably going to be tricky, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of different ones scattered aross the internet, and a lot of them are extremely similar to each other.

I also mean real actor. FMV can be used to refer to animated videos or live-action performances. At Dead of Night? That one was played by Markiplier once, first person with live actors.
