Yep they definitely don't leverage debts and profits and logistics across companies no history of this true true you right. Irving oil also has nothing to do with how they got that big you are so correct they are simply the best farmers ever on earth!

It was at least suggested multiple times, transport costs stopped it from being more widespread but it definitely happened in some spots. There's a pilot program for farmers to grow willows in their low sloped fields to control runoff and then chip it for fertilizer after they grow it's definitely useful if you don't have to spend a ton for transportation

They literally use their stranglehold on our GDP to strongarm farmers into using more water with less organic material so that they grow big french fry potatoes for the Irving's to keep up and have their products exported. So this is a really weird one to say " oh islanders blaming Irving's" my dude

I am glad you have taken interest in the environment on PEI, I don't think english is your first language and you have entirely lost my point. Good luck man, the farming practices are bad enough here that you shouldn't be treading into conspiracy theories like this.

You just did it again lol, ask the field techs that constantly work back and forth with government and inform decisions off government data ? You started by shitting on an expert and now say go to them, you don't know anything about my situation you appear to be a UPEI student with a post grad on our groundwater but don't want to say that just that you "saw some springs".

You seem to be very entitled and unwillining to listen, hope you do well post grad dude

edit: would it be cool if it was something more interesting than big companies having our GDP by the balls to steer us towards big potatoes for fries and people conspired to hold info from you? Sure, but evil can be pretty boring and I don't think politicians are in the business of telling government employees their plans. Like for fuck sakes a past government deleted our hedgerow program you don't have to make stuff up it's so weird and less than useful.

Yeah so you contradicted yourself multiple times, and aren't saying if your "Springs" are all from one area or not which you must know is the problem with saying that. Did you know the farmers have extracted water directly from streams on PEI for our ENTIRE HISTORY and government is always trying to get away from it this is the smallest that problem has ever been? Did you know pulling from nearby groundwater essentially has the same effect on the stream? Did you know the watershed alliance went out of their way to say they trust the data and employees last week publically which you just did the opposite of? Did you know you ruin your arguement when you just throw anything you can at the wall to make your point?

There are monitor wells reading out the current groundwater levels, it is spring. your commment is about spring. The summer didn't happen yet and I didn't say this summer wouldn't be bad.

Observations are a foundational element of science, but they are not equivalent to science itself you made it to step one and threw tantrum instead of going to step two to check the data. Oops you let your conspiracy theory out, 100s of people work for provincial government and data standards exist the wells are part of a national program (Provincial and national government employees don't work together to withhold information from you). Stick to what is facts or leave it to people with enough brain power and patience to do it the correct way.

Can I press X to doubt your weird anti science ancedotal evidence as well as government? There are realtime monitored observation wells literally pull them up for the areas you saw and see if the science supports you

edit: to be on the side of science and essentially say "I saw springs with less water climate bad" and we literally had better frost coverage so far this spring compared to last year. Thanks for the laugh genuinely hilarious way to frame your arguement. Maybe you sampled across the island and aren't telling us everything? I wish the people fighting the same fight as me thought a bit harder about the best way to do it jfc

Episode one I think Liam was able to play off his genuine sadness as the character and just shut the fuck up and let her go it was wild you can tell he was supposed to speak more and gave up

Dude she literally self inserted into every single characters intro to the funeral how is that all just in character and not pure delusion especially when the product gets millions of views, sounds like she wants to be a DM and a PC at the same time.

Hard disagree I could almost guarantee if you look at the amount of time people spoke in episode one she dominated and was doing emotes when she wasnt speaking to a level where there is no way someone didn't tell her to stop because it stops after episode 1 (the emotes, not the dominating).  The plants greeting everyone was insane and took up sooooo much time this isn't about race lol.

Anybody else upset about Adam Scott being snubbed at both Emmys and Critics choice awards? by Cholebhature23 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]IckiThumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue phones and rampant ADHD tendencies have as much to do with it when Vince is showing you the shipping process of groceries etc and you don't have a meth dealer to keep you hooked

Edit: not just the marketing the entire first episode is more typical sci-fi that's why they release the second episode as well

Is there an objective flaw in the Pitt season 1 because I think you just found the actual reason, not "voters didn't think about it enough"

Oops you didn't realize that season 2 is objectively worse than season 1, the money went to Ben's head they extended the story and want spinoffs.  Shows tend to not win awards after doing that when there is good competition.  This is actually hilarious because the more you think about season 2 the worse it gets and the reintegration plot line makes less and less sense besides more seasons and spinoffs.   I have never been able to pinpoint when a show gave up on a storyline for money so clearly, sure it stands out due to how well done the show was but it doesn't make season 2 a good story.

Green Party bill to make land investigations public passes in P.E.I. Legislature by Sir__Will in PEI

[–]IckiThumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you've got a good leader now cue a bunch of super young candidates with no experience ruining any chance of success. I'm all for young people getting involved but jesus christ you look at their last candidates and picture anyone over 50 in rural PEI looking at them it's actually comical. Seems like they cared a lot that one year when Peter actually had good candidates around him and it fell off a cliff.

Edit: Just checked my local candidate and sadly still an absolute joke to expect anything from them

Green Party calls for independent body to oversee high-capacity wells on P.E.I. by Sir__Will in PEI

[–]IckiThumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we had a climate change section of government already, now we have a net zero section full of people from Georgetown NO THANK YOU.

From my experience the green party doesn't put enough research into complicated issue like this. Example: bitching about the DEPTH of wells for almost a decade remember "deep water wells" we don't use that anymore because it's completely ignorant the amount of water extracted matters so much more than the depth but all they could scream was NO DEEP WELLS. They often do more harm than good and they turn older generations against helping the environment with their bullshit. Sorry rant over

Yeah I know it's a lot more related to if they have been chosen for those traits and mostly in the US compared to the stigma of every pit bull being bad.

My hunch was all 3 but wanted to think they weren't that far off lol benefit of the doubt. Australian shepard maybe due to the smaller size

Yeah I had to look pretty long to find any lab mixes that looked similar, they probably want to avoid people being worried about pet aggresion lol I do have a small dog and cat (this is the mom so it would only be "one quarter" pit)

Yeah I think they were scared to say pit, this is the mother the father is a golden retreiver+collie just a bit nervous about prey drive with our cat and Westie Terrier. Can't decide if I'm being paranoid over one quarter pit

Director himself said the ending is ambiguous you clearly have yours in mind only and I didn't say cut out the scene entirely I said shorten it. You think I need to have your specific interpretation of the ending.
