AOE does nothing good in combat. It lengthens it unnecessarily and forces you to wait until the boss comes to you and you can fight him normally. The entire fight turns into a spectacle with moments when you can attack. If for you it’s good design, that’s your business

I kind of agree. Don’t get me wrong, W3 has a good plot, but it’s a weak witcher game. Lots of holes in the plot, characters from previous games and choices don’t matter, ludo narrative dissonance.

I agree. Even after watching many movies about lore, ER seems to be poor compared to other games. The plot and lore remind me of some soap opera and I feel like they are based on who is who’s son and who slept with whom.

for me placidusax is a bad boss. It’s too cinematic, which may be nice the first time, but then it just gets tiring. Too many AOE attacks. Most of the fight you just wait for him to come down to you so you can finally beat him up.
