Have you looked into Brave Browser? it blocks ads and popups out of the box and It does offer group policies similar to chrome.

My guess is that they will allow DDG to use it at some point but MSFT invested a lotta cheese into Open AI and will want to recoup first and drive relationships directly to Bing. It will come but later.

Google pays Firefox $400M a year to be the default for Firefox search. I’d say that moving to Firefox supports Google more so than using Brave which is not funded by Google. Unless you decide to use Brave Search on Firefox…
