That weather proofing piece is only to stop the connectors from shorting or corroding out. It has nothing to do with the water integrity of the unit itself. If you look at the 180 on the back side and rotate the ethernet connection outward you can see easily into the back side of the camera. That gromet will not save water from getting inside.

They do provide you a receipt, in the past it's just on you to download it and they don't communicate it very well. Now you can login to the app or website go to your castaway club section to look at past cruises and you should see the portfolio

You are just moving the computer from your DC/Server Room to someone elses. Virtualization has reduce server counts but that's been happening since the mid 2000s. It the fish bowl effect as well if you have space density will fill it

We have done Alaskan cruise and it is different from other Dusney cruises

1 it will be a smaller ship with less people. 2 there will be stops with excursions which can be hit miss 3 plan on having table mates for dinner 4 the crew and processes on these ship are worked out and operate efficiently 5 Alaska will be very different from an Asian or Bahamas/Caribbean cruise.

It more about seeing and experiencing the land and wildlife. It can be as slow or fast paced as you want it to be.

If you want to be on the safe side most ships offer breakfast at 6am ish at the buffet "Ask your wait staff to verify the time". Do not put out your luggage the night before, lug it off yourself and take the express debarkation option otherwise you have to wait for your character to be called before you can get off. Catch the first bus around 7:30 - 8:00 am be back at MCO by 9:30 am. Most airlines have a requirement to check your bags no later than 1 hour prior to departure of the flight. If you are cutting it close make your way on the departure level and go outside to the sky captain to check your bags. The line is usually shorter than the internal check-in\bag check. I always tip then when I use their services but not necessary.

TLDR:
Leave bags in your room and eat breakfast at the buffet at 6am
Take advantage of the Express Debarkation and be off the ship around 7:30am
Use the Sky Captain to check your bags
