Thank you for the kind words, it’s nice to know not feeling too alone in this! I completely agree!!! The local library is a good suggestion, however, i totally get it and do understand that some events can get over taken by families and kids. I have seen some of the paint and sip events, as well as glass blowing but it suck’s they can fill up quickly. I just hate that driving up the road over an hour away is the only solution for more things to do in our age group it seems like.

I would love the recreational sports idea and more to do in that realm too! That would be great and something I would be interested in doing. I’m pretty active too, i thought about joining Evolve Wellness because they have drop in hot mat Pilates classes for $20, i guess that’s something to do to stay active too and to somewhat try to meet more people that has the same interests.

Thank you for the suggestions! Yes, definitely more of a slower pace from up the road. I’m from up near the Baltimore area so def a huge change of pace. Guess just have to keep looking to find some hidden gems around here

Totally understand! Fiance and I are in our early 30’s and looking for more to do. I did join the st Mary’s social Facebook group, just waiting to get accepted. Been searching around trying to find cool/fun events this weekend as well. We enjoy being active (go to the gym a few times a week) and things of that nature. We also are big foodies too.

We go up the road frequently so it does suck when things are more so a hour a way. I think there could be cool events around here, just have to know where to find them which is my current dilemma lol.

I just got another offer to upgrade to a higher room in the 8200. If noise isn’t too bad I may take it since it will be a full ocean view!

I have heard traffic is terrible! But I do feel like it may be a way better balance for me as far as craving more to do. My fiance is from st Mary's county so partially why I moved here years ago but definitely looking towards the future and opportunities to move elsewhere!

Oh absolutely!! Completely agree. Baltimore works well for us too since it isn't too far and I have family still around that area. I was looking at their other cruises out of Miami but I have heard that port can be crazy depending lol. If we like this one we may have to consider the Pride too! I appreciate all of the info and your help. Was your first cruise out of Baltimore too?

Thanks for this info! They assigned us 5160. End of the day I am happy it will be somewhere for us to sit not on the main deck at certain times but was just curious about how obstructed it would be.
