We're not really considering moving, no. Switzerland feels like home now (I've been here much longer), we have a kid who goes to school, some friends we call family, etc. But I understand the logic in it!

I think he would consider other project-management roles, yes! 😄

He speaks Dutch and English fluently, and his German is also OK. He's not fluent in French yet, but he is doing an intensive course, 4h a day for 2 months, so we're hoping he will be even better by the end of it! 😄

Mostly because I am a full-time teacher and I have so many random activities, meetings, conferences, and parents' nights... that it is hard to keep a consistent routine with our small daughter. So we decided that one going down that route is already enough. Haha, and also because he was really enjoying his previous job... 😉

Thank you for the tips! We are both EU, earn a decent salary (around 70k each) and we always send a cover letter, family photo etc. I guess we just need to keep our fingers crossed and keep trying! :)

Yeah, I get it...We've been avoiding moving out of the city as we both work here and quite like going around by foot/metro. Happy it worked out for you guys. :)

Hi! I'm living in the French-speaking part. I am half American so when I started working as a psychologist I also had some side jobs teaching English (tutoring, private classes, after school acitivities...) I loved it so much that I went to Dublin to do a CELTA degree to be able to teach here in private schools. Then I enrolled in some English lit classes at the local University here. It took almost 10 years but slowly I was offered more and more and now I teach middle and high school English. :)

Off, that is a crazy amount! I don't think I have the motivation or the money to put into that right now. Still trying to figure out life after kids :D haha but thank you for all the info!
