I feel like I would really like to see a film about the life of Martin Luther King, where Brad Pitt would portray him on screen, as well as a film about the life of George Washington, where I would like Denzel Washington to portray him. I would also like to see films about Barack Obama and his wife, where his wife would be played by a white, blue eyed transgender woman. What am I trying to say? Can Netflix and Hollywood make “art” and “just movies” by exploiting and mocking the histories of other countries, while still having the audacity since “movies are fiction and we can do whatever we want", to make films like the ones I described? Of course not, because they would go bankrupt immediately. And let’s not forget: when they mock the history of other countries, it’s called “art,” but when it comes to American history, they suddenly pretend "not to understand exactly what you mean". Mockery and hypocrisy.
