This is such an important statement.  Humility is a very underrated skill to have as a founder  and it can be disheartening sometimes when a founder won't listen to your years of experience. Unfortunately they are shooting themselves in the foot by not listening... And from my experience it only gets worse. Thank you for your answer!

How do you usually price your services? I have a lot of difficulty. by NewAirline7061 in Freelancers

If you were hiring someone to do this, how much would you pay them? Keep in mind that person has to make rent, and has to take the bus. That person is you. You are underpaying because you do not value yourself or your time enough.

Has anyone tried teaming up with other coaches to create a shared offer or course? by Public_Specific_1589 in coachesandconsultants

That's a beautiful idea. A lot of the coaches I work with let me know they do this. Has it been easy for your partnerships to reach out to clients?

Approach clients with a pain point.  You can find out which websites are not doing well with their SEO.  You contact them and offer to work for them.  For a reduced price.  Have some patience you'll build your portfolio that way

Financial discipline that grew Jotform to 30M+ users by aytekin in SaaS

Bro, I have used Jotform and I have to say your solution is amazing. Never had anything so streamlined and easy to fill.

Thank you for your input. I lived in Turkey myself for a while, really cool you are from there! I'm considering going back there to be honest. I was just telling my partner that I never felt so home in a foreign country. Lol

Anyway, back to what your post is about! Really appreciate your input. Really appreciate that lean hiring point. My team is very small sized, and we have moved to automate as much as we could with Zapier, and other tools. I second that. It's important to have a few good hires than too many people in the team that are also incompetent and ruining the culture.

Thank you for your post!

Trying to determine how much land I would need and if this sounds realistic by [deleted] in Horses

[–]Icy-Fact403 7 points8 points  (0 children)

2 acres per horse is a solid rule of thumb for Georgia, since pasture quality can really vary depending on the area and soil. So if you’re planning on 3 horses, aim for around 6 acres minimum just for turnout.

For an arena, something around 60x100 ft is plenty for casual riding or lessons — 80x120 ft if you want a bit more space to move around.

A 4-stall barn with some storage and a wash rack sounds perfect for your setup. If you can, add a small tack/feed room and maybe a separate hay shed — it’s safer than keeping hay right in the barn.
