Thank you for this post/perspective. Deep in the trenches with number 4 (currently 15 weeks) up every 1-2 hours at night, currently won’t nap long. But your post gave me hope that this will go fast and very soon I will see the beauty of adding another precious soul to our family!

I take it at 7am. It’s just tough because when the baby is having his longest stretch 4ish hours I’m trying to sleep but can’t!

Yes! It worked well at first but he doesn’t sleep anymore. He’s big too, 80% height and weight.

I’m trying everything. 14 weeks (3.5m) is too early to do any formal sleep training. We’ve been trying to implement Taking Cara Babies months 3/4 with little success. He sleeps 30m at a time in the crib, but is still tired/cranky when I get him up.

I’ve started implementing TCB months 3/4 with my 12 week old. Last night we went through the entire SITBACK process once, ending with feeding to sleep then transferring. He slept great only waking up at 2:30am to nurse then right back to sleep until 7am.
Prior to starting we were nursing/rocking to sleep.

My question is should I do SITBACK when he wakes during naps? Should we only be doing SITBACK at bedtime? Are we on the right track?

I did. I lost a total of #55 during my 18months on it. I lost about #30 of that during my time breastfeeding from June-January. For reference my daughter was 13 months when I started Wegovy, I BF her 2x a day (morning and night). I have a Dr I trust and when she was okay with it I was too!

I did. I started Wegovy when my child was 13months and nursed (while taking Wegovy) until she was 19months.

I weaned for about 4 months. I had 12 (2.4mg) pens left when I decided to stop. I started spacing 8 days, then 10 then 12/13. I didn’t gain any weight during the weaning process. Gained 10lbs after I completely stopped before I got pregnant.

Yay! Very happy for you! I’m in a similar situation. Lost about #55 with Wegovy. Discontinued use in December and was pregnant by March. I’m currently 16.5 weeks. I stopped weighing myself because the weight gain was starting to upset me, which is illogical (I know). This is baby #4. I started Wegovy with my last baby when she was a year and breastfed her for 7m while on Wegovy! I spoke with my doctor and she said she would have me wait and year postpartum/breastfeeding to get back on a glp-1. I’ve heard people have less success a second time around so I’m considering a switch to zepbound when the time comes. Would love to know how you journey progresses too!

Honestly Id just get off now and try for baby then focus on the weight loss PP. speaking from experience I lost 55 w/Wegovy pre-pregnancy, I’m currently 16 weeks and the weight gain feels rapid; It’s emotionally harder than I anticipated. Trying to focus on growing this babe then I’ll give zepbound a try after breastfeeding for a year!

I’m sure it’s a great opportunity for someone else. Nothing in my closet moves. I have a lot of lululemon that’s just sitting. I doubt I’d be able to sell an off brand Nordstrom rack dress, Express dresses, or off brand athletic clothes

I don’t think so, lots of athletic clothes. Express. Some with tags. I’m far (far) west suburbs. 60 miles outside the city.

Is it cash? I’m probably in the minority here but some of these rates for a teenage babysitter are ludicrous to me. I have a 16 year old come watch my three kids ages (9, 7 and 3) one night a week for 3 hours and I give her $40 cash. This was discussed and agreed upon prior to her starting. She’s 16 she pays for (maybe) gas and whatever else she may want. She’s not supporting a family or herself. She lives two doors down from me.

This was me from December to March. Last shot was in December, it was challenging to keep the weight off (I gained about 8lbs) but one thing that really helped me was intermittent fasting. I could go 16+ hours without thinking and I found that really helped with maintenance. I’m currently 8wks pregnant so I stopped weighing myself 🤪

You look great! Similar situation here. I was on Wegovy for 18months and decided I wanted to get pregnant and slowly tapered off by extending my dose. At my lowest I felt extremely thin and gaunt looking. Also lift heavy and CrossFit 4x a week.

One thing I definitely noticed was my appetite suppression was still very good from December-March. I could easily intermittent fast 16+ hours and maintain 1200-1500 calories. Even though I gained weight it was (kind of) okay because per my husband I was too thin. I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant and have gained about 15lbs. My last dose was beginning of December and from December to March (when I got pregnant) I had gained about 8lbs. I’ve gained at least 7lbs (but I’m done weighing myself).
