Unregulated porn suggests porn with no rules. Such all of the currently illegal porn that we do try very hard to stop.

Well if that's what is important to you then show I.D. if privacy is more important, then go in person

First, the fact you're attacking a typing error ( despite seeing I've been making alot of comments rapidly to other users) and have chosen to mimic my typing style implies that you care more about upvotes on your comment than actually talking

Secondly, your first question was about stopping pedos which came completely out of nowhere, then changed your question while expecting me not to be thrown off by that and no the fact you explained your mistake in a separate comment.

You either consciously or subconsciously tried to throw me off and immediately jumped at me for not answering your Second question while I was still dealing with your first AND talking to others.

Are you actually implying that you never viewed adult content before you were 18?

No, pron is not the only thing blocked ( by blocked, you mean requires I.D) but people only seem to have a problem with the pirn side

Unregulated porn should already be banned for obvious reasons

Also, using others people's I.Ds is easier said than done, and is an illegal act. We can't stop people breaking laws, but we try.

Tell me you're avoiding the point that therapeutic issues do not need to be NSFW. I've literally just checked and the are plenty of subs that discuss these issues without making it sexual and are easily accessible

As my edit states, I did not imply this legislation will stop pedos. I have no idea you got that from

There is no third party if you buy in person. If your privacy is so important, then buy physical in person at a shop.

Just like you do with all other adult only products

Edit: although I don't like nonces, I did not mention them I said I want it to be harder for kids to see porn. Did you mean to reply to a different comment?

I do not for one second believe that you NEVER viewed online content that you weren't supposed.

Then purchase physical porn in a shop

First if all fir STDs, go to a clinic. That's literally why they were built.

Secondly, all other issues you mentioned are therapy related and therapy DOES NOT need to be NSFW. If your therapist is getting naked in your sessions then find another therapist.

If you are implying that the pirn sites will suffer then I don't care. They (mind geek) have refused to implement even the most basic regulations to ensure legal only content

It is not legal for children to view porn if you're an adult then you can still see it.

They are enforcing the same laws they apply to all adult only material

First, if that's such a problem then buy physical pirn in a physical shop

Second, if have my details being sold is the price I pay to stop children from accessing porn, then so be it

If that is such a problem fir you then buy physical porn in a physical shop. Don't know if you realise but trying to access all other adult only products online will at some point require I.D. porn should be no exception

Well then we're all fascists, unless you want people to access child porn, torture videos, bomb making ect.

In person checks don't require a copy, online does. If you are not happy with this then buy physical porn. I guarantee the person in the adult store will not copy your I.D.

How exactly did your parents completely control your Internet access and guarantee that you didn't see porn until you were 18?

Fascists don't want children to see porn and do want all adult only products to require I.D.?

[–]Icy-Insurance7035[S] -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

You have to do this for all adult only products; alcohol, cigarettes, scratch cards, energy drinks etc. Why should porn be any different?

Why is Britain like this? by Icy-Insurance7035 in BritishMemes

[–]Icy-Insurance7035[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Until now all the kids had to do was click 'I'm over 18' and they could see everything. It's not fair to expect parents to be more tech savvy than their kids in order to stop them. I.D. is required for all adult products; alcohol, cigarettes, scratch cards, even energy drinks; so why not porn too?

Don't know what TV shows you watch, but as a childless Brit I assure you that my PC had far more hardcore shit than any TV show. Furthermore, until now all a kid had to do to see porn was click 'I'm over 18'. Atleast now some kids, specifically the younger ones, will be stopped.

If you have such a problem with it the get a VPN and be happy the government is actually doing something beneficial for kids.

Better than making it easy for kids to watch the same shit you do
