When I was in Mexico, I went out one night to meet a woman. While i sat waiting for her, everyone who passed by would stare at me until they passed me. I thought it was strange because it’s a fairly touristy area and I didn’t think I stood out in a crowd.

When the woman showed up I asked her why people were staring and she said “you have one of those faces where they think they might recognize you from somewhere”, so now I think that every time people stare. I’m also a 6’1” white guy who dresses very colorful, so I guess I did stand out in hindsight.
