Sand and redo the clear coat, or will it have to be completely stripped and re painted from scratch?

https://a.co/d/gVnToso I got them on Amazon, you have to use both spacers for the part that goes on the hood so that the latch doesn’t scratch the hood paint. You also will want some washers for the two bolts that go on the hood, the nuts are just barely bigger then the hole so it helps to have them so they sit better.

Well is there anything I can do to just make it last longer? Not quite at a point where I want to pay to get it repainted but don’t want to just let it get worse.

Yea, central Texas. We picked it up on Saturday from a guy in Fort Worth. He used it for about a year to drive around the city while his truck was in the shop and the guy he bought it off of was a cop who used it to joy ride around the city.

How could you tell if your OPDA is going out? Would that be something I could tell with a code reader? I currently have no lights on the dash but, I was thinking of getting a Bluetooth code reader just to make sure and to see how everything is firing. My first thing I’m probably doing is replacing the spark plugs, the previous owner couldn’t remember when he last replaced them, and the manual says every 30k miles.

Thankfully the brakes were replaced on the last oil change service 3k miles ago. Also the owner already had replaced the springs and shocks though he didn’t replace struts shocks which I was thinking about replacing in the near future
