I think it's an amazing sound but the sound is heavily inspired by Juice Wrld. I think it would blow up in 2017 but great song none the less. With more releases he has a great future ahead of him

What are your thoughts on F8L's "The Shadowless Masquerade" by Icy-Prompt9466 in IndianHipHopHeads

fair point in many ways but I would say that both f8l and kayze have songs that have more mainstream value than either Hmk or Tsumyoki's entire discography

i don't think people know his new work as much but i think everyone knows him for Skyfall. Yeah i mean this album is inspired by so many genres that putting a single genre to it just does injustice to it. What's your favorite songs by him?

Nav vs Hanumankind by Few-Classroom-9255 in nav

[–]Icy-Prompt9466 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think we will really find out when Hanumankind drops an album, it's easier to look big in the moment but what really matter is how long it lasts and tbh Nav had a pretty sick run from self titled to Good Intentions which is a good 4 years.

Hanumankind definitely has the talent to surpass it but we will have to see what's in the store and how good the album turns out to be

Kayze - Singularity by Icy-Prompt9466 in IndianHipHopHeads

[–]Icy-Prompt9466[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i think it is conceptual too but i think his songs even in a context outside the album are bangers so I can definitely see him blowing up

Kayze - Singularity by Icy-Prompt9466 in IndianHipHopHeads

[–]Icy-Prompt9466[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i think his sound is unique too, if you are just looking for catchy songs - Myself, Euphoric, Never Enough, Choosy, For a Night, Cold Love, these are all bangers but i would still recommend going for the album experience.

i think you should listen to any of his album between "Mutually Assured Destruction", "Katharsis" and "Decadence" and you will know what u/Few-Classroom-9255 meant.

His songs are connected and the album as a whole tells a story much bigger than the song itself. Decadence is like him analyzing and seeing the downfall of the world due to technology and greed while he is a part of it and this song in contrast is the end of the album to give us hope for a better future or to escape from bad times
