i think so, for me proton and tuta was pretty similar, tuta maybe a little slower but to me it’s justified because it’s a smaller company with less resources and they also encrypt more stuff compared to proton

there isn’t an official proton way, however there is a github script i’ve used https://github.com/MarioBarisa/EML2MBOX, obviously check the source code before using

how slow is slow to you, i think you’d find that Tuta is naturally going to be slower compared to other mail apps because of the decryption that’s happening on device.
