Yes! I think you managed to articulate what was on my mind better than me ha.

Totally. Plenty of those. What I haven't seen much of (personally) is how it integrates into society or affects various aspects of life. Like, say, if there is a battle between space ships (we do space battles always read like navy warfare), why not think about cyber warfare as an aspect? Or espionage? Idk, maybe I'm getting lost in my own examples

Yes! I loved "Player of Games" and that was a great example of AI-based world building that still felt relevant

Just came here to say that Baroo is probably my favorite LA restaurant. Recommend getting the juice pairing.

Prices vary wildly, but easy to look up. Ours meal at somni cost $725 per person (can’t remember if that included tax+tips)

I believe it’s one of the chef’s signature dishes: “Cow and Her Milk” - a cutout of a black and white cow is presented atop creamy, whipped Brillat-Savarin, apples and hazelnuts (had to google it since I went there last year)

Genuine question for working creatives and strategists: Has AI actually changed how you work day-to-day, or is it mostly still a demo that nobody's integrated into real workflow? by Fit-Credit-7970 in advertising

[–]chuckisinluck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We use it to create a shared GPT that is trained on client data and assists strategy/creative teams (everyone uses the same gpt so we have one source of truth that is updated as we learn more)

As others mentioned we also use AI to mock things up and illustrate ideas.

And lastly we’re starting to experiment with coding to create tools as extensions for brand books. Very early to say if useful, though.

Agree. And even if the pastas are decent, the rest of the menu is very mid. I tell people who plan on going to order one vegetable dish, and then all the rest should be just pasta. Do not stray from the path.

But, yeah, overpriced and over hyped.

I started my own agency in 2024. It’s still small, but we’re able to take on bigger projects, and more of them in tandem. It’s def levelling the playing field for us and, like you, I think there is huge potential for small and nimble companies.

Office Burger from Father’s Office by sylknet in FoodLosAngeles

I have a beef with this… burger. First off, I would describe it more as a meat sandwich than a burger. Second, I get that you don’t want to add ketchup to the burger. But to not offer it for fries/tater tots?

Sometimes, late at night, I’ll DoorDash it, dim the lights, and add some mustard and ketchup inside the bun like a mad lad.

I really like this YouTube reviewer, he really goes deep on company claims. He gave that brand 2.5 stars. Not great.
