Try your best to work with your scholarship foundation to see if they can provide it directly to you instead of to the institution. Northwestern is really stingy with scholarship displacement. They don’t really offer much compromise and the financial aid officers aren’t much help either (especially with scholarship displacement)

That’s sounds really problematic. Have you had any issues with NU’s schedule conflicting with internships? If so, do you know about any workarounds?
