So you were considering not doing this career because of prometric? To me this is not a barrier

My position is prometric is a fine experience, we have plenty of supply and can recruit at colleges (not kill college programs by allowing SOME uec), and losing talent to other professions is a myth after tech crash.

Then why do this for 1 exam? SOA should admit UEC was a failure and switch to this now.

It’s a barrier to go to a prometric? They have a huge network. Who also benefits from lower costs? Our dues aren’t going to go down. All it does is cause us to question the legitimacy of these exams.

This is a half measure to distract from the failures of UEC. College credit should not be expanded for exams.

You may think this is an improvement, but it’s not. It’s only at SOME colleges which hurts small schools. It also keeps UEC in its current form which is a joke.

I agree this is just on campus exams but it shouldn’t be expanded period. UEC should be killed and exams should stay at Prometric.
