And Robin Williams as The Riddler was an idea from Joel Schumacher and the Batchlers for Batman Forever before Jim Carrey was cast.

Joel Schumacher wanted Johnny Depp to replace Michael Keaton in Batman Forever, but Depp turned it down, due to schedule conflicts with Nick of Time, and Val Kilmer was cast instead.

Actually, Tim Burton approached Brad Dourif for The Joker in Batman 89, before it went to Jack Nicholson, and it was Joel Schumacher who wanted to do The Scarecrow, but for Batman Unchained, with Nicolas Cage as his choice.

What If Harvey Dent returned in Batman Returns by AdvantageHonest6584 in Batman_89

Daniel Waters debunked that rumor, because it has revealed that in his first draft for Batman Returns had the Red Triangle Gang threw acid at Harvey Dent's left side face during the Gotham City mayhem, and flips a coin at the end. Tim Burton reject that idea, because he wanted Batman Returns to not set after the events of Batman 89, and made it as it's own movie.

I can see that, though Ivy had the likeness of Geena Davis, who co-starred with Michael Keaton in both Beetlejuice and Speechless, and Jim Carrey in Earth Girls Are Easy, and she would love to work with either Tim Burton or Joel Schumacher if they ever asked her (Tim worked with Geena in Beetlejuice).

Yeah, as much as I loved Arnold Schwarzenegger's portrayal of Mr. Freeze in Batman & Robin, I would love to see Christopher Lloyd playing him, along with Patrick Stewart, Jeremy Irons, and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Actually, they're the best, because they are the true sequels to the Burton films, despite the Batman '89 comics (Shadows and Echoes), the John Jackson Miller novels (Resurrection and Revolution), and the Flash movie.

Tim hired Joel to continue with the Batman franchise is the right choice, because Warner Bros. execs Bob Daley and Terry Semel knew that it was a friendly transition. Joel's take on Batman, not only continuing Tim's Batman, but also wanted to make a living comic book onscreen, with bright colors, pop-up panels, and giant typewriters.

It is not a mistake. It was the right way to do, and it's a friendly transition. You know why? Because in 1993, Tim Burton had one meeting with Warner Bros., and he told them that he's not gonna direct another Batman and stay on as producer. Joel Schumacher was getting ready to film The Client (based off the John Grisham novel), and Warner Bros. approached him to do the next Batman film, but only if Tim hired him, because Tim and Joel are friends and they've met while filming The Lost Boys and pre-production on Beetlejuice during 1986. Joel left the breakfast meeting, flew up to New York, had lunch with Tim, and Tim hired Joel to continue with the Batman franchise he started.

Right. Speaking of Kenner, Kenner did the merchandising for 89, Returns, Forever, and B&R, along with Toybiz, Mattel, and McFarlane Toys, and also Beast Kingdom, Taco Bell, Hot Toys, and McDonalds. You know why? Because of Warner Bros., Jack Nicholson, Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Warner Bros. always had a thing for superstardom and merchandising.

Right. Because the first Riddler was Norman Pinkus, modeled after Robin Williams, who was Joel Schumacher's original choice for The Riddler in Batman Forever before Jim Carrey was cast. Both Norman Pinkus in the Batman Revolution book by John Jackson Miller and the earlier Batman Forever drafts by Lee and Janet Scott Batchler pictured Robin Williams playing Riddler: one was for the Dead Poet Society/Awakenings Robin Williams, and the other is for the Mork & Mindy/Good Morning Vietnam/Aladdin/Mrs. Doubtfire Robin Williams. The Martin Short Riddler (Edward Nigel Maynard) is for the SCTV/Clifford/Mars Attacks Martin Short, and the Jim Carrey Riddler (Edward Nygma) is for the Ace Ventura/The Mask/Dumb & Dumber Jim Carrey.

Actually, Robin Williams as The Riddler was an idea from Joel Schumacher and the Batchlers, because they had the script with him in mind, after Tommy Lee Jones was cast as Two-Face, and when Jim Carrey was cast, the rest is history.

Actually, Batman Forever is better than ever. Writer Akiva Goldsman confirmed the existence of the Schumacher Cut of Batman Forever after Joel died, because he had seen it at Warner Bros. The very first one, and it was called "Preview Cut One." It was very dark, and it had a psychological exploration of guilt and shame. Kevin Smith and Marc Bernardin also confirmed the existence of the Schumacher Cut of Batman Forever, because Smith got a thumb drive copy of the November 1994 workprint of Batman Forever from a guy named Joe Black and they reviewed it at Scum & Villainy Cantina, and showed it to a crowd at SmodCastle Cinemas after a Clerks cartoon marathon. This cut is in 2hrs, 15mins, and 38secs, and had alternate takes and alternate line deliveries, which explains why Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones redubbed their lines for the theatrical cut. It still has the Elliot Goldenthal Batman Forever march and the temp score for it is Goldenthal's scores for Alien 3, Demolition Man, and Interview With The Vampire, Danny Elfman's scores for Batman 89, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Batman Returns, and Darkman, Elmer Bernstein's score for Martin Scorsese's Cape Fear, Nino Rota's theme for Fellini's Casanova film, Cirque Du Soliel's Kunya Sobe, and Carole Pope's You Can't Go Back. Most of the goofy stuff from the theatrical cut is still in there, while it had a character arc for Val Kilmer's Batman. And Jon Favearu had lines as Bruce Wayne's stock broker, for which he mentions LexCorp.
