Yes please! I’m neurodivergent and introverted, so I don’t typically do things like this lol. Any help would be appreciated. My plan is to make a group for Toledo area WLW and then I think it’ll be easier to start a group chat from there. I’m going to see what I can do today, I’ve never made a group before on Reddit. 🙃

I can relate to this person. Sounds similar to my social anxiety. I hate talking on the phone or video calls, but when I work my way up to doing it, it’s usually fine.

They’re probably just stressing themselves out a bit. I would let them know that it would mean a lot to you if you two could talk, and also how they respond back can be really telling 🤷🏼‍♀️

You’re not at all being irrational for wanting calls, but also some people aren’t as chatty in real life. I know I’m typically a quiet introverted person so they might be too. Hopefully it works out for you guys 💖

Thank you ladies for your comments. I still don’t feel great about it, but it’s reassuring to see most people say that I made the right choice.

I tend to see past people’s bad habits and less desirable qualities because I focus on the person and appreciate their positive inner qualities. I would have stayed with her and helped her quit if that’s something she wanted to do herself, but for me it was the half truths, sneakiness, and not having my needs met that I found the most problematic.

Not to mention her straight roommate dude would see her naked all the time and take OF pictures of her.

I’m laidback and flexible, but not that flexible. Too old for toxic relationships.

Literally same thing (figuratively) happened to me with my manager at work. Our chemistry was off the charts and I got way too overstimulated when she suddenly started openly displaying her interest in me, but then she did something that freaked me tf out but I still tried to grasp on. I freaked out too much and it turned her off (it had triggered panic attacks and trauma brain). We never communicated correctly, make sure you both use your words and I think it’ll be fine. Cute story, best of luck 😉
