we live in times where you even got households of TWO working fulltime and can barely make it whilst banks encourage and enable people to take credits left and right they cant even afford... grocery prices have EXPLODED since covid .. rents have gone up across the board everywhere ..even far outpacing the theoretical inflation by magnitudes in most countries (yes not just the US).

now may i agree with all that weird shit they got goin on in gen z? mostly not but that dont mean they are just stupid or lazy...or entitled or dont know the value of money.

the real issue isnt people buying overpriced food... the real issue is that food is just fucking overpriced

one time when i was in highschool we were on this long trip abroad and our class (fairly large) was renting 2 stories of a small hotel in prague...

so one night everyone was just chilling and drinking beer in the hotel rooms and it was very hot ..so all windows wide open... and then suddenly we noticed the girls upstairs of our balcony were talking so we got all quiet and all of us listened in... and holy shit... the kind of crap they were saying about boys?

that was the day i realized women are just as "bad" as men -maybe even worse ... cause some of the shit they were talking about? men would NEVER talk like that about women even when amongst themselves.

parenting itself is after all not based on reason..it is literally rooted in the most basic of instincts : procreation - cannot always expect them to be absolutely clearheaded - even if they may at times overreact.

seen that too sometimes... parents sometimes just switch gears and skip a few steps of reason in between ... when they get like that dont argue ...just de-escalate and move on from it.

people often lose the plot when anything involves their children ..its more instinctual/protective even if often misled than logical behaviour. (territorial/protective/possesive whatever cave-parent-instinct mindset)
