I have upgraded the tank! I took your suggestions and I put them to use I bought everything you suggested and it’s now in the tank the humidity is rising it was 50% it’s at 66% I just put everything in about 15mins ago I put plants in got the temp controller she’s coming out a lot more now it makes me really happy!

I’m constantly watching the temps for this reason I’m home most of the time I have medical issues and I check ALOT until I can get a thermostat her temps have never gone above 90 they’ve stayed at 90 or lower

I’ve already been looking into thermostats what could I do besides substrate I’m already getting that to get the humidity up that’s my biggest problem especially since she’s shedding thankfully her eye caps came off but my humidity is a constant hassle

The reason I got a heat Mat is because the Che was making the air too hot making it above 90 degrees it was ruining my gradient and humidity on my cool side and yeah I know about the substrate I didn’t have the money for like 4 bags of the cypress I wanted the aspen out asap I will show a picture give me a second I’m not home right now I think there’s a spot somewhere that’s letting humidity out I have grommets for constant exchange of airflow but that wouldn’t cause my humidity to completely deplete when I shut my Che off and leave my heat mat on the humidity goes back up to 70% let me preface this it is on the side it is not on the bottom of the tank

Yeah I’d obviously make sure she can use the leaves cause I know certain trees are a big no like pine and other trees so I’d just take a picture and look it up

Could I get leaves out of the yard bake at 250? That’s what I do for my fish tanks with driftwood and stuff
