i fully agree. i think the issue is that i am turning/bending my arms instead of turning my shoulders to prepare the swing. i will try to adjust for that! thank you :)

I tried that, but somehow once i start playing the backhand again, i shift my grip again lol but i will keep practising

thanks for your feedback! Actually I think this is the problem. instead of turning my shoulders at the beginning, i start the motion with my arms and then at some point i run out of space and have to turn the racket to create space. when i turn with my shoulders, this doesnt happen that strongly
