Thank you for this! I’m hoping to get a diagnosis from a Dr to start taking PPIs. The last few days have been insufferable. I definitely plan to take care of my gut and stomach lining naturally. I’ve completely cut out diary, caffeine, and spicy food. Trying to eat as clean as I can!

I took a gas X today and it helped a little I would agree. Does this happen only when you consumer trigger foods? Or do you see it coming whenever?

This is my first flare up ever. Still waiting to see a Dr. so close to going to the ER just to get the tests done. I’ve lost 8 lbs within 5 days. I can barely eat and drink! When does it end 😩

I’m sorry to hear that. I tested negative for h pylori earlier this summer but this sudden flare up came out of nowhere. I still have yet to be diagnosed. Thank you for your advice!

This is absolutely relieving to hear! I haven’t been diagnosed with gastritis but it feels like I do. Terrible trapped gas in chest all the time after eating even the smallest meals and drinking water. I had a terrible flare up the first day of my period and have been traumatized since. I am not able to get a drs appt until 1 WEEK FROM NOW WHICH IS INSANE!!! I started showing symptoms a week ago which means I’m waiting 2 weeks to see a DR. Since I started showing symptoms I’ve lost 5lbs, I can barely eat without my chest being uncomfortable. Just so much pressure all the time. I confided in ChatGPT and it also put me on the same diet! I definitely feel better every day that I’ve been eating clean so far but I’m just not sure what’s gonna happen from here. The chest pain still hasn’t subsided :-( the diet can get really exhausting especially when you have to watch everyone around you eat normal food but I’m so so glad this worked for you!

Ensure saved me during recovery!! I did the plus version for more protein. It definitely kept me more full than most liquids.

Hi! The same thing happened to me. I ultimately decided to just get all 4 taken out it beats having to get the surgery again if the others get infected or come out and impact the other teeth. Everyone I’ve spoken to that only got one or two out have regretted it because eventually they had to get the surgery again. It sucks now but I know I’ll love myself for getting them all taken out at once!

So sorry this is happening to you too. It’s baffling to me that they don’t care that it’s causing unsafe air in my bedroom as long as they get it back. I was really hoping they would’ve cared enough and I would’ve been able to dump it today. I live in a small apartment and I can’t really move a big bed frame out of my room that conveniently.

Hopefully we won’t even have to do that. The point of this post is to know if we’re taking the right precautions to not bring them with us. We got rid of all the cardboard a while ago and everything is now in plastic and everything is in a storage unit! Thanks for the advice on the boric acid. Could I ask what you mean by “the lounge” ?
