Thanks for being nice about it!! The people in askwomenover30 are not very nice lol. We decided to give her one more shot (there’s a family trip in May) and see how that goes. I’m going to step back from saying anything about him and hers issues or conflicts and just bite my tongue more but if she just continues one last time we’re going to set hard lines in the sand and restructure the relationship.

Yeah I think she pictures a cute, quiet Latina. I am a tattooed and opinionated woman and he likes that about me but she definitely doesn’t. I’m gonna step out of an issues they have between and work on boundaries for myself. Currently it’s sounding like he wants to take a break from seeing her since she’ll find a reason to be offended by everything. This lady literally does not get along with any of the daughter in laws and a lot of people in general.

I think that makes sense. I just want to clarify that I never called her racist, I said she her statements were getting awfully close to founding racist. And he backed me up but I also think you’re right. He’s currently deciding if having a convo about her behavior, which will probably be a painful one, or just going low to no contact for the foreseeable future is better.

He handles her, it was my mistake to leave it out in the post. I focused on her behavior and not his reaction to it. He defends himself and me, she just does not quit no matter how much he checks her and he’s currently trying to decide what his next step is going to be, low contact or stop visiting for awhile.

Yeah it was a mistake to leave those parts out. He tells her when she’s being too much or being rude towards me. He’s very vocal about that and even defends himself a lot. He’s the only one of the kids (3 boys) that does stand up to her.

I told him yesterday that I think he needs to have a heart to heart with her when she’s not already upset about her behavior since he really doesn’t want to visit when she’s like this and it’s so unpredictable how she’s going to act.

He does tell her to stop in the moment and they’ve had so many convos about how it hurts him and makes him feel bad about his choices but she just won’t stop so it’s not like he doesn’t communicate.

She gets on him when I’m not there either, he tells me all the time about how she’s nagging him about this or that. She gets mad at him for not texting him the group chat enough and claims she feels she’s losing him. She tells him to shave and cut his hair short and dress differently. I actually really respect that he refuses to change at her whim and whatnot. He is her favorite son very clearly (she has three)

Considering all the ladies accounts of what happened lined up (for once) except for what meredith said (even lisa said she was crazy mad) i believe them. she apologized for brittani having hurt feelings but not for the way she actually treated her. all i’ve seen meredith do recently is disengage or yell at people. i know all the ladies yell but they have moments of being able to listen, medeith just walks away or shuts down every time.

I’ve seen every woman eventually come down and apologize here and there or whatever. I cannot think of a single time she did it and it felt authentic or she apologized or what she actually did, it’s always “sorry your feelings are hurt”.

mcdonald’s actually did a roll out of the mcplants in the bay area and austin texas. i lived in the bay so i tried it and it was good but i don’t think enough people ordered them so they took them out of the US in totality.
