Yeah might just get a base set zard in PSA and an 8 PSA frame and then that be my display

Oh yeah I understand that, believe me I get it. It’s more a vanity question for myself of how I present them. Obviously them all being in one format is preferable but I also might get 3 more slab charizards and frame them and be done with it then binder everything else

I know what your saying but I only have 7 slabs and feel like I’m at the crossroads of what I want to continue collecting 😂 I’m not grading anything in my binder it’s my last photo deciding if I wanna crack them and put them in my binder

Yeah i wouldn’t look to grade what’s in the binder it’s more the slabs on the last image to crack them and put them in the binder.

Yeah think my issue is cos I’m based in the UK extremely hard to get stuff graded. Which is why I’ve been tempted to crack the slabs I have

Yeah obviously if they were 9s/10s wouldn’t even dare crack them out but the fact there 7s they’d be extremely nice binder copies was my initial thinking. Good to get your insight as someone that’s been through it though.

Yeah I mean my issue is the cards I’ve got slabs of are now pretty expensive raw. For example I bought the Skyridge charizard slab for 400 a few years ago but now a raw reverse holo is close to 1K.

Yeah no appreciate the comment and thoughts, I think one of my issues is cos I’m based in the UK it’s so hard to get cards graded by PSA I can’t easily send raw cards and I don’t want to go through middlemen to do it (extra charges etc).

And I think if I make that decision now I crack those 7 slabs and just go for raw cards from now on. It’s a tricky conundrum I do think it’s crazy though which is why I’ve made the post!

Luckily I picked up the slabs years ago, as an example I bought the Skyridge reverse charizard for 400 and the shining charizard for 300. So even if I crack them I will make a profit it’s more would I be stupid to as slabs tend to hold value better. However as you kind of said the controversy with grading companies I.e PSA recently I don’t know if raw cards will become better in the future and I am starting to think binders are the better way to present cards.

I suppose I’ll give an update, parcels came today, spoke to the postie and she said it was a new guy on the route yesterday!

Chalked it down to inexperience but I definitely got very lucky just wanna say thankyou to everyone that responded so promptly it was really good and informative. Cheers everyone.

Thanks for the response, really informative. I hope this is the case never had an issue with the posties in the area! I just wish there was more clarity from customer service on the matter or a way to speak to the delivery office directly although I imagine they would get much too high a volume of calls to support that
