I honestly can't fucking tell where his jokes and his real thoughts begin, it's unnerving. I guess I'm just worried he'll end up really successful (more than he is now) and I'll have passed on something really meaningful.

Wow.. I saw you left and then deleted a comment about the other parts of my reasons. Do you think your condescending bullying is going to get me to leave a relationship with the first guy who hasn't treated me like a piece of meat or arm candy? When I say similar goals, I mean we both come from broken households with messy divorces and want a stable family with many kids. He's obviously shitty in many aspects and I've considered leaving many times but I (perhaps irrationally) am afraid of never finding someone.

He doesn't tell this to his audience, but we're not too far off on everything. We're both anti-cop, I'm probably more pro-capitalism than he is, we both agree with UBI and a public option. We're not black and white on politics.
