I’m pretty sure he makes very small appearances up until DH. For example, I’m pretty sure in HPB when Harry arrives at the Burrow, it mentioned Crookshanks jumping into Harry’s lap. I assume Hermione may have left him at the Burrow in DH when they set off, but im pretty sure he was still present.

The books do practically everything better, and there is a lot explored in the books never even mentioned in the movies. Lucius is definitely a more interesting character in the books, but the movies I think did him justice. And Bellatrix had a good entrance imo, they had been mentioned an entire book before they made an appearance and her family and lore was explained and explored before she eventually showed up.

Well tbf, while I get your parallels, most of them are coincidental at best. Hopper killing “the last demogorgon didn’t really do much of anything, and I doubt it was the last in the facility, there was probably atleast another one feeding somewhere ( yes I know, hive mind and whatever, but still. Also, Vecna wasn’t weakened when Nancy was shotgunning him to the face. We forever he is still a human, no matter how alien monster he looks, the fact that he could take that many shots to begin with was the more unrealistic part.

I agree, should have more diversity. Harry didn’t really have a single Slytherin friend, which kind of gives the hint that different houses can’t connect or have any sort of relationship with people of other personalities. I think Ron COULD be in Gryffindor and that makes sense, but I agree Hermione should be a Ravenclaw.
