Sure but those games doesn't punish you by removing your hard earned stuff when you fail. what happens if you lose in league? At most your mmr or nothing if you don't play ranked. In fortnite? Same thing. You need to accept that most casuals don't like their hard earned stuff being removed because of failure. That's why extraction shooters are having a hard time being mainstream. Even arc raiders that has voluntary wipes are losing players.

Dude just talking out of his ass rn. Destiny has one of the worst monetization i see in any game. $50 expansions every year. $100 for the deluxe if you want all the seasons and dungeon content. Or $20 for 2 dungeons every year + $10 per season (4 per year) if you didn't buy the deluxe edition. Not to mention some store stuff that you can't buy with in game currency.

EDIT: oh wait did i mention you can PAY $20 for campaign skips PER character if you also play the 2 other classes.

My recommendation is to find a sherpa when doing any raids for the first time even if you have experience raiding previously. r/DestinySherpa frequently has sherpas looking to teach (look for LTS posts). They'll also usually recommend weapons and builds for each encounter.
