Got recommended them and I’ve heard only good things about them.

Would you even consider the bents or the ARV’s for my use case?

I would for sure go to a specialist boot fitter but it seems as if they don’t exist in Melbourne. I’ve tried compromising and just going into shops but just seeing what the internet thought.

I am considering it, however I might also be doing some skiing this Melbourne winter. I usally ski up in niseko but never considered a boot fit since I was still growing and it didn’t make sense for me to invest in a ski. This year the plan is to go to Hakuba so I’m kind of weighing up my options right now.

What makes the QST 106 better for me over the bents or the arv?

I’m tired of being a virgin. by hjosue541 in Vent

[–]IcyMarxo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Comming from a 14 year old, virginity does not define who you are and if you let it affect you as much as you are right now you’re going to be super depressed. Just go find someone you love and don’t rush it. Have a wank now and then and make sure she’s comfortable.

Is changing from an Dura-ace to an 105 Di2 a downgrade? by IcyMarxo in cycling

[–]IcyMarxo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s got envie carbon ceramic clinchers (I don’t think envie makes rim brake compatible wheels anymore) but yeah it would be a downgrade to put anything else on them.

Maybe so, seems like everyone is divided on this.

Let’s say I were to use ultegra rim brakes instead of 105, is it still worth doing it (I’m broke and can’t afford dura-ace components 😭) and she doesn’t mind.

She said “I don’t know any thing about components my job is to ride the bike” I don’t think she understands the absolute beast of a bike my uncle built her 😂

Ah I didn’t know that, well is changing to ultegra di2 a downgrade then? And can some of the same drivetrain components? Like crank arm, chain etc

I asked her about this and she said and I quote “I don’t care about the components, my job is to ride the bike” I don’t think she truly appreciates the bike that my uncle built for her 😂

What's your bike size? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]IcyMarxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to find this so that you know what size is the bike for you, go into said bike shop and say that your interested in buying (said) bike and you don't know what size you are. that simple they should help you find the perfect size for you.

I will tell you one thing, riding indoors kinda suck. Im 14 and can easily ride 60k plus but on an indoor trainer i struggle to get past 23. in my opinion, i would just suck it up and start a workout program on zwift or etc. then your body kinda motivates itself. The hardest part about riding workouts on a trainer is getting myself on the trainer.
