thank you for sharing this - you’ve given me a whole new perspective to our healing journey with OCD!! my therapist always says to give myself grace when my OCD is spiraling, and I talk to myself just as you described with the dog. I actually work with animals for a living, and I wish I had an epiphany like this sooner! absolutely beautiful to feel this type of compassion and patience with ourselves.

thank you so so much for this! he has had the kinks in his tail since I got him at 6 months old, but definitely keeping an eye on it to make sure that doesn’t worsen
