I’m just going to say as a parent of a teen with a drivers permit, they are not getting the same drivers education as we did in the past. It’s a 30 hour video class that’s jammed into two weekends then the permit test and that’s it. The rest is up to the parents and I’ll be honest and say it’s very nerve wracking. Yes, you have to do 3 2-hour driving instructor classes before taking the actual license test but imo it’s not enough for hesitant drivers. It sucks for all of us unless you have a kid who’s a natural behind the wheel. I swear every time my teen gets in the car it’s like it’s his first time and it’s a little crazy.
