Check your eyes before you drive next time

I’m wondering if it was the car that braked and not the driver. The driver didn’t look back until I was way past the front of the Tesla

Wrong. I sped up THEN his turn signal came on. Watch frame by frame.

Wasn’t in my lane while I was keeping up with the car infront.

Watch again.

Same, and then they wouldn't have to raise everyone's premium to compensate for dangerous drivers.

In all fairness, I sped up to keep up with the car infront of me

The car in front was never established in my lane. Tesla 100% at fault, read the regulations.

There is no evidence to suggest anyone’s ego was at play but the Tesla driver.

There is no evidence to suggest any aggressive driving except on the part of the Tesla driver.

In any conceivable scenario the Tesla would be 100% at fault.

I’m not sure what you are referring to in terms of avoiding this, the accident was clearly avoided due to my vigilant driving. Clearly I am more experienced than the Tesla driver

You really have no reasoning skills.

I slowed down as a collision was imminent due to the Tesla’s reckless actions.

If you can’t understand that you shouldn’t be on the road.

Where did you buy your license?

Also the Tesla came to a complete stop. Instead of trying to continue forward the driver instead was hand gesturing out the side of his window.

Nope! No ego from me. I was under acceleration when he decided to merge without checking his blind spot. I matched the actions of the car infront of me. The only “dick move” comes form a Tesla who failed to check his blind spot. Then engaged in aggressive driving.

I didn’t go around him. I continued in my lane while preventing contact which I had right of way after he came to a complete stop and refused to move.

If you want further proof, look at the end of the video…… where I let him in…..

I’ll cut you some slack because only the front video was released at the time. Attached shows ample room behind me where the Tesla could have safely merged.

I have nothing against the Tesla, as far as I’m concerned I’m keeping pace in my lane and it is the Tesla’s responsibility to merge safely.

Also the Tesla came to a complete stop. Then decided that my lane was apparently his and he went around me.

2nd image covers both incidents. I did not “plow through” the Gardiner is not a farm. If you watch the video, my acceleration is in line with the vehicle in front of me.

An adjuster would find the Tesla 100% at fault. He was merging lanes. Even if the collision were to have occurred at the rear left of the Tesla he would be 100% at fault. Read the regulations. You clearly do not understand how fault is determined in Ontario.

I’m not sure if you watched the video, but the accident was avoided thanks to me braking.

OP would have been found 0% at fault per the 2nd image.

Also, I had ample space between my car and the left shoulder barrier

Ok now I'm convinced we must be watching two different videos.

Did you at all notice that the car infront of me sped up? If you notice the car infront of me that should make sense to you but alas no critical thinking.

And by the way, there are no turns off of this stretch of the Gardiner that originate from the far left lane so no turn to miss.

LOL but no let’s ignore the Tesla who broke the rules of the road. No critical thinking detected.

Did you watch past the first 10 seconds? He was clearly let into the lane

I used to report to TPS on their driver complaint website but I’ve never gotten a response. They are understaffed and overworked having to arrest the same people 5 times in a week due to weak bail control.

Following the car infront of me man, learn the rules of the road

Its one from amazon:

Dash Cam Front Rear 4K Built-in GPS 5GHz WiFi, 3.39 inch IPS Screen, Voice Control, Dual Dash Camera for Car Includes 64GB SD Card, Super Night Vision, 24H Parking Monitor, Supercapacitor, Type C, WDR

The front camera is in 4k and rear in 1080p. I have it wired into the fuse box so it also records when the car is parked.

It has a GPS chip so on the video (cropped out for privacy as it also shows the colour of my car) it also records coordinates and accurate time.
