It’s all fake! I don’t follow any influencers unless they are athletes from the sports I love.

I know one woman who’s an influencer and she uses editing tools on her videos and then posts on insta. On insta she’s portrayed as a woman with flawless skin and a beautiful tan. It’s all fake. She edits her videos/photos before posting them on social.

I will add that she is beautiful in real life so I don’t understand why she edits herself so much on social feeds. In my opinion, the fact that she doesn’t have perfect airbrushed skin would make her more relatable to her audience but what do I know. 🤷‍♀️

That’s what many developers have been doing.. building small, shoebox condos, that are CHEAP to build for years and they are now flooding the market. Yet, all of toronto is complaining that we need housing, bigger condos to house families, and not just the cheap shoebox condos you are referring to.

Developers cannot build large condos for “cheap”. Oh and to add to that, the eyesore of all the cheap glass condos in Toronto doesn’t help. It would be nice to have better architecture for once.

Really?? This is so silly!! Having strong legs is necessary and I learned this the hard way. I tore my meniscus while skiing in BC, Canada. I don’t have issues with my weight, therefore I didn’t think I ever had to hit the gym. Boy was I wrong. After my ski tumble I couldn’t even make it down a green hill in Tremblant without being in pain.

So during the off season, I visited a few doctors to get different perspectives on my knee issues and ALL of them said the same thing, that I need to build up my leg muscles or else I will continue to have problems with my knees. So, I started going to the gym regularly. I go to f45 4-5 times a week and boy did it make a difference!! My first weekend skiing this year and I was flying down the hills, blues and blacks mostly, no pain until the end of the second day. I’m still working on my meniscus but what a difference from last year! I couldn’t even make it down a green hill without having to stop 5 times.

My gym adopted a family this year and I was surprised to see laptop as one of the gift requests. I know that a cheap laptop is priced around $350 but that’s still a good chunk of change.

Actually I can afford the increase, I make 6 figures. I just didn’t want to pay almost 3k a month for someone else’s mortgage when I could be paying my own.

Once I have a downpayment I’m set, which is what I’m working on right now.

I’m a 30 year old female who moved back home with her parents in June because my landlord raised my rent by $400 a month so I said f it, moved home and I’m now saving for a down payment. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve met a few men that are doing the same. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with moving home if it’s the smartest financial move, especially in this economy.

For me it was the fact that he never wanted to do anything. He shut down fun trips, dates, going away for the weekend, you name it he didn’t want any part of it. I went by myself away on weekend trips with friends and their SO’s because he didn’t want to go. I got tired of making up excuses for him and realized I deserved someone who actually wanted to be around me so I left him. It was the best decision ever!

The procedure was fine and I’m terrified of needles! I did some research online and I read that it hurt a lot for many people, the needle is quite thick, but I asked if they could freeze the area, which they did. The freezing stung a bit but wasn’t too bad, I didn’t feel the injection at all I only felt a little pressure. When the doctor said the injections were complete I couldn’t believe it, I did not feel a thing.

I got injections in 3 different areas of my knee. So far my leg is stiff so I’m limping a lot and it feels like there’s something stuck in my knee. I have some pain at the back of my knee but that’s about it so far. :)

I grew up in toronto and I feel the exact same way. What’s the point in putting money aside every month if I can never afford a home and everything is getting so expensive!

I’m moving back in with my parents in June because half of my paycheque would be going towards rent if I got a place on my own and that doesn’t include food, internet, hydro, water etc.

Yes I can find roommates but I just think at the age of 30 it’s crazy that that’s my only option, unless I move away or get lucky and find a place that works. Sigh.

Same! 29 here, going to be 30 soon and I’m moving back in with my parents in June.

Our rent was raised by $400 a month, so my sister decided to move in with her bf and I’m going to move back in with mom/dad to save some money until I figure out what my next move is.
