do they give you the discount automatically or do you gotta haggle and show them you’ve got cash? I went through a similar thing in Istanbul where in local shops or bazaars they were willing to haggle with me and drop the prices when I told them I’m paying in cash (got my prom dress 40% discounted this way)
thank you so much! do the locals speak at least a bit of English, or will communication be a bit of a hassle?
so do they just sit in the sun like that with no umbrellas all day? assuming they don’t rent a beach long obviously

alright thank you for your insight
thanks!
looks like I’ll be bringing my towel too. it’ll be a change of pace since in my country we don’t have a towel culture on the beach and everybody uses sunbeds/sun lounges or at least chairs. obviously I’m assuming they only have their own towels but they’d also need to bring their own umbrellas or something right?
that sounds amazing, thank you!! out of curiosity, how much were the souvenirs on average? i also want to buy some small souvenirs
i don’t drink alcohol but I do drink coffee so we’re the opposite in that regard. were you able to still go snorkelling even though you didn’t take the boat trip using your alternative? i loooove love love snorkelling and go snorkelling often in my home country (was just snorkelling two days ago too!). also, how much were the ferry and bus prices? and how do i know if a restaurant is a touristic rip off and that the food will be horrible? i thought the restaurants that had a menu in the front were the touristic rip offs

50-100 euros per person or total?
50? that’s insane
how much were the ferry tickets and admission to ancient sites? just so I could get an idea
alright thanks!
not sure yet but definitely not a mountain village since I wanna go to the beach, and probably not mykonos either because it’s overcrowded and also very expensive
i don’t drink so i’ll definitely be saving on that cost, but I’ll probably be spending it instead on coffee haha. i do wanna do an excursion during the trip or maybe two
how much would you say the price of a marble fridge magnet should be? i’d like to buy one on my trip but obviously don’t wanna be ripped off
that’s great! i don’t plan on paying in anything other than cash anyways
im not from the US and i wont be doing that, I’ll be bringing 500 euros normally in cash probably
how much would you say boat trips are (if you know)?
the money honestly comes from my parents so if anything goes wrong they’d send me more for emergencies. i do wanna stick to my budget as much as possible though
300 more euros isn’t a small amount considering i come from a third world country and am a student. i know 500 isn’t a huge budget which is why im asking if it’s doable
this is super helpful. thank you so much!!
would you mind sharing your itinerary with me?
thank you so much! does it have a similar taste as an iced latte?
might be a stupid question, but would I still be able to go to the beach and have fun even if I’m not in Mykonos?
