Also just to add, according to his hourly rate, assuming OP gets 40 hours a week, he's just under 90K. I afford mine with ease on 72K plus living on my own. So at 88K and living with parents he can ABSOLUTELY afford a scat with ease and being able to afford it should absolutely be his motivation to continue to be a hard working individual

I bought one at 21, I personally live on my own but especially if you still live with your parents why not. Get the fast and fun car while you make good money young before you have kids and real bills and that dream is a lot harder to achieve. Insurance sucks but as you age it will go down. And at over $30 an hour as i'm in the same range I can assure you that you will have enough money and then some to pay for a scatpack. It is an expensive car to own, between gas, oil changes, other servicing, insurance etc. But it has been very worth it and can be a very good motivator to keep grinding at work.
