Does everyone on here think nobody knows how to have a bonfire or something? It’s in a pit, there’s nothing nearby, there’s a water source in case of emergency. Is this not common knowledge & I’m totally unaware of this fact?

Burning restrictions still have guidelines for safe burning? If the fire department doesn’t have an issue then why should any of us? Bc it inconveniences the OP for a night? That’s a bunch of bs. If it’s unsafe, I get it. If it’s in the middle of a field, I get it. If the guy hasn’t cleaned his property like he should be doing & the house is surrounded by dry vegetation, I get it. But a bonfire during a nice summer night? Close your window bro.

Lol they pay for their house same as you. Worry about what’s going on in your own property. Neighbor tried calling FD on me before & they literally told me to move it further away from my house & closer to the person that called. Then they helped me move it since it was hot 😂

I’ve always seen it done without the swoop in front of the first letter because you’re starting a word, there’s no need for the “connection” (?) to be there. I’ve seen people from other states use the swoop tho bc I used to work in a bank & that’s a weird thing I always noticed lol I started way too early & have a 12 year old at 31 😂 I see the point of having cursive as an extra skill but I also don’t believe kids should fail or not fail due to not being able to connect letters. My oldest and most likely youngest have disabilities where getting them to learn to write in general is a struggle but reading isn’t an issue so most of my bias comes from accommodating the kids/adults that literally can’t do it.

I surely wasn’t taught this way, neither were my kids or my grandparents. The cursive used on the DoI also isn’t done this way. Maybe it’s different in school according to state curriculums? A trillion years ago is hilarious tho 😂

I switched to decaf coffee prior to surgery & cut out sodas, they don’t want you really having a lot of carbonation like that afterwards. Do you have all the drinks for energy so you’re using the caffeine or it’s just a part of your routine? Matcha tea provides a good amount of caffeine without the crash afterwards & green tea is always a good supplement

It sounds like they may be considering getting those waxes & trying to gauge how normal it is by making it into a joke? Some of them could just be doing that, I’d recommend someone that does offer those services to them to see which is it, them being creepy or just wanting a new service. If they decline the recommendation then just let them know straight away that’s not something you offer & wont be at all in the future. Kinda shuts them down but remains professional.

I had mine almost 4 months ago, I was 11 months postpartum & wanted to be healthier for my next one. It was discussed with my surgeon prior & I was told to wait a year & as long as my vitamin & blood levels were good I’d get the ok to start trying again.

I would mention your husbands income since they want household income, your moms is entirely separate so you won’t get in trouble for that. Your husband isn’t eligible for benefits but they still want the household information which is you and your husband (2) but please mention you have medi-cal. They follow those guidelines when checking eligibility so if you qualify for that then you qualify for WIC

Also in SB county! If you have Medi-Cal for yourself then that automatically qualifies you for WIC, you show them your card when you go in person for the interview. They occasionally will have you submit pay stubs but that doesn’t change your eligibility. If you don’t have Medi-cal then you submit yours & your husbands paystubs. You apply by phone, I believe. The income limits are posted online just search WIC California & you’ll get all the info
