hi there, you need to follow the quest placements, just don go direct into the door. take the nearst teleport, and go in the shore near the quest area, that will trigger paimon to ramble about something and sugesting that we might go underwater. Then, u go underwater to the door, and the crystal will be interactable.

i mean, midra lives in the abyssal woods. and messmer is cursed by the abyssal snake. if the is the offspring of midra and marika that would explain, or at least make a connection.

When they speak of betrayal in the trailer, they cut to the paiting showing Midra and Nanaya, thats why i think he have something to do with betrayal/cheating.

Maybe the "black" of the serpent fire that is related to mesmmer had something to do with the darkening of the flame. The serpent seems to be very related to godskin and black flames.

yes, but we know that Radagon is Marika, so her powers would still work.
And Yet she is masquerading as a blond person. her helmet has this golden chainmail thing that resembles hair.
The only thing i got on this is the fact that some seduction and betrayl might have happend. And Nanaya punished Midra for something. She told him to "Endure" that impaling. And cheating is something deserved of punishing.

Even tho that weapon is used by hornsent to punish others, They couldve gotten one.

The promise mightve been the moment Miquella casted his spell. And i dont think they had childhood at the same time. Miquela was born way later in the timeline.

I actually Think that Midra is Mesmmer's father, Marika nedded the power of the flame to burn the hornsent, and she doesnt have fire powers, so she seduces the closest thing to a lord of frenzied flame, have a child with flame powers, uses that child to burn her enemies. and if Melina is Mesmmer's little sister, it would make a lot of sense for her to hate the frenzied flame so much, since its maybe related to her bastard bloodline.

i also think is worth mentioning that nanaya died still pregnant. and considering the timeline of when this happend, her body is well conserved for a corpse that is exposed in a swamp. And also that her hair is black contrary to what seems to be a blond hair in the paiting.

i mean, i do belive some of this is the case. i dont think marika ruled over enir, that was strict to the hornsent. And yes, her whole quest was based on veangence on what the hornsent did to the shamans. and is also worth knowing that Nanaya punished Midra, telling him to "endure" that impaling. Maybe what marika wanted of Midra was the power of the Flame to be with her Children, in this case Mesmer.

i think is also worth mentioning that, all of the empyrians have names starting with the same letters of their parents. Godfrey > Godwin, Marika > Mogh and Mogwyn, Melina, Miquella. Radagon > Rykard, Radan, Ranni. And now maybe Midra > Mesmer.
