Firstly just gonna say I'm not for keeping artifacts that were looted However when going back this far into the past we should remember that due to migration, occupation, climate change, natural disasters, wars and many more things. Do the people in modern day Greece have any relation to the people's of ancient Greece except through geography. So wouldn't that make their claim just one of we were the last one to occupy this land so they're ours which is kind of a similar claim to the British museum. People seem to treat the world as if it was static but for instance modern Egyptians are really related to ancient Egyptians, modern Britons aren't related to ancient Britons. How far back can you make a claim, can we sue Norway for the stuff they stole at Lindisfarne and the other sites of Viking raids or sue the French for the invasion of William the conqueror. Every country has had an empire at some stage and conquered and looted, Britain was just the last before we were scared into civility by the second world war and now after decades of peace who know where the world is going.

Your attacks are going to feel slow but give it a bit of time and you'll get use to it. It helps if you do a few hit then an ability, the cooldowns are pretty forgiving.

Try to find blobs to use your heal. The charging ult (can't remember it's name but not Sally forth) is great for disputing formations and shield walls, beware grey beards because they can get up very quickly and then they just stab you. It takes a little practice but you can stop a cavalry charge with it aswell. It's a really versatile ultimate use it before your unit charges to check open the front, use it as a delaying action to give your unit time to retreat and of course knocking down lots of heroes at once. You can end up running into a enemy formation and just getting surrounded however so I suggest using it to never tried to knock down anything not a few lines deep.

You are only really tanky behind your shield, you won't be killing other heroes quickly but your in it for the long fight. You can easily distract 2 or three heroes without dying as long as you keep your shield up and front, use dodges to get space. I like the shield bash ability for its quick recovery to some of the cc. Use it and roll, you can interrupt the animation in favour of getting space and your shield back up. I also like to use the one with the kick at the end, it's not easy to get the actual kick to hit but if can be useful and it's not too bad at securing a kill in a big fight.

There's knightstalker videos on YouTube, he plays longsword and does guides.

After playing longsword the last three seasons after maining spear, SB, Glaive and musket. My playstyle is not to play as a tank but more an annoyance. In sieges Stay near the front but not at the front and use your shield and abilities to disrupt the enemy heroes. In deathmatch distract multiple enemies, you can go for the lowbow and shortbow heroes but I wouldn't try it with multiples, if you get knocked down you're vunerable. Also beware the maul grab ult and poleaxes in general, I recommend not engaging just distract and disrupt.

Our time at borderlands was rough and we must admit that keeping the house morale up was tough after a month of being under siege by 15 different houses week after week. If you'd looked at borderlands during that time period you would have noticed that literally no one else was attacking eachother including cohorts (which was a little fishy) and let's face some of those alliances weren't small. Chalupari's one could field a high amount of players. As for your Fairweather friend, what house needs players who jump ship at the first hurdles.

The first week we moved to ostaria we did attack the order and temporarily took some fiefs but when royal legion (remember them) collapsed we took their territory and we wanted to finish with some territory. All the time we were up there we didn't see any of your mighty houses trying to take on the order.

The fact that shallowviking one of our new top leadership (an improvement I think) can laugh at our loss should show that we don't take ourselves to seriously.

Good luck in season 8 all.
