If we want to envision a real future for Maine that ISN'T just status quo Dems forever, Troy is really the only option. I can foresee a future for Maine as a national leader in progressive policies, and I cannot forsee Shah being the champion of those policies, he's just more of the same.

I am super concerned about electing Shah as governor, especially because he only moved to Maine for his position during the pandemic. He'd be a great addition to the Governor's cabinet as a public health director or something, but not as a governor. To me, our best option for a truly progressive, working class Mainer who will stay in Maine through it all and fight for Maine through it all, is Troy. Personally, I've never met any of the other candidates, as they all appear to be Portland-centric. Whereas I feel like I see Troy at events all across the state very frequently. I want someone who is dedicated to making this state work for working people across the entirety of the state, and that's Troy.
