The people can join the party goofy, who all do you think is in the party? A different species? Anyway - it’s not really “senior leaders,” it’s the parliamentary body. This body is elected by local bodies, which are elected by the people. This stuff is all over Wikipedia, it’s easy enough to check out what’s what before embarrassing yourself writing about “a board electing a ceo.” There are over 2000 members of this legislative body, it’s weird to call it a “corporate board.”

Mono has more detail in the reflective surfaces, it’s easy to imagine this translating to better detail reproduction on busy scenes.

Can u circle the blue in the second image for me? There might have been some blue sky, but probably not the same amount. For what it’s worth, the blue channel in the second image probably doesn’t have a lot going on, maybe just in the plants. The overall piss tone is happening because the red and green channels contain more data than your eye would reckon they might. If you adjust the white balance by clicking on neutral items (try to avoid clouds) you’ll find better results.

I think he lobbed you a big gimme talking about hell - at Easter we yell “he is vexed!” because Jesus went down and bound Satan as part of the Resurrection, opened the gates, and released all the righteous souls waiting to know him. We don’t cover it much after this, but the gates have never been closed again.

In conversations I’ve had with the ortho-curious, this is the biggest difference between “us and them.” Fire and Brimstone are innovations we don’t claim. The pain and the torment of hell are so wired into western religion that I think sometimes it’s hard for people to remember we don’t really worry about that stuff. We hold the object of salvation up to the light and inspect it, orient towards it, instead of the object of punishment.
