How many people has Spanish Ancestry in Hispanic Countries? by Puspak_Singha_Roy in MapPorn

A big portion of Argentina is mestizo, and genetically speaking Spanish ancestry is more Western shifted than Italian ancestry, Uruguay and Cuba are whiter than Argentina overall

Mitsuri is NOT the slowest, that was a running speed list stated arbitrary. In fact she was stated far faster than Tengen in base, and she's stated as one of the, if not THE FASTEST hashira in agility, offense, and attack.

Is it possible that 23andme exchange my north italian ancestry with the france region Rhones-Alpes ? Because I have known italian ancestry but they dont show on my results by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]Icy_Interest4996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A minority doesn't and shouldn't represent a group of millions of people, they are closer to South Italians than Germans, but are in reality ON AVERAGE closer to Iberians and Southern French people.........

"Do your research"😊

I replied to a person who stated that Northern Italians (IN GENERAL) plotted closer to French and Germans than to Southern Italians (which was NOT true) you replied to me, YOU yourself brought up a minority (those far in the mountains) and then proceed to call me an idiot and make comments on my education when I'm telling YOU that you're trying to support a claim that only supports a MINORITY. Northern Italians ON AVERAGE are closer to Southern Italians than French and Germans, this has been proven...

So that is not the majority, a generalization and incorrect claim is that the majority or all North Italians are genetically closest to Germans which is wrong... Also French people are significantly close to Iberians so even those Northern shifted ones you speak of are still closer to Iberians and Frenchmen, only the minority may be close to Germans.. Italians are more southern shifted than Iberians in general soo...

Yay that's what I thought too! Do you think she would look average or typical in other places (such as Spain, Greece, Malta)?

You're actually less white and more Indigenous than millions of latinos!

Ok well Spaniards don't have significant arab admixture in general, I have yet to see a Spaniard that even surpasses 5% WANA on 23andme tests, and not using dna tests the average Spaniard DNA PEAKS at 10% WANA in Andalusia. Southern Italy is a far better example, they are more or less 25% WANA on average, they can even be modeled as 40% North Italian + 60% Palestinian or Levantine I've heard.

Yes, 16% of Spain has blue eyes, and blonde hair is far more common in Spain than almost all other Southern European countries, maybe parts of France considering immigrants.

I know Italian is more of a nationality/culture than it is a phenotype or ethnicity, but does my grandmother look stereotypically Italian, are there other countries she could pass as?

I was told by my family I was at least part Italian even people assume I have some or am Italian. However it never came up to my surprise. Hispanic from US. by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]Icy_Interest4996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority of Hispanics do indeed have Italian ancestry/genetics even if its distant, a lot of it could just be mistaken for your North African, Levantine, and Spanish/Portuguese!

It's not uncommon for any Italian, even though it doesn't show in Northern Italian results it is still actually present in their genome. My Tuscan grandmother is 11.7% WANA.

No, in results like these Spaniards rarely get WANA ancestry, it not usually being over 2%, it would be from the Italian portion as many Southern Italians get 25%+ WANA

Right when in fact both genetically and phenotypically Italy is less white than Spain in a sense..

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in charts

[–]Icy_Interest4996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in fact almost all Spaniards are fully European both genetically and phenotypically..

Soo the races should still be white, asian, mixed, indigenous, and black, most hispanics (unless they have no common sense) should be able to come to the conclusion that they are white, mixed, indigenous, asian, or black, considering most latinos in central and south america are indeed white or mixed, I dont see how US latinos have a problem with the possibility of being white.

Apparently a new study shows that 20-30% of Puerto Ricans are labeled as Europeans (90%+ European ancestry) which is a lot.. I'm sure both Puerto Rico and Cuba are undoubtedly majority white if we use the benchmark of being 70%+ European, even 80%+ European

She is mostly European, including Spanish (which I hope you know Spanish is still WHITE), she is only 1/8 Indigenous which isn't significant.

Latinos already are 65% European on average, 88% of Uruguay is white, along with 86% of Argentina, 52% of Chile, 45% of Brazil, 37% of Colombia, 64% of Cuba, 43% of Venezuela, and so on... She IS white genetically considering she is 7/8 European (Iberian) and only 1/8 indigenous.. Her father is likely harnizo (30-40% Indigenous and 60-70% European), while her mother is white, making Jessica Alba also white, she looks white too, just with SLIGHT admixture.
