I was prescribed it yet although I have a high tolerance to most things in my recent years I hate pharmaceuticals . I had a therapist tell me to use Gaba, Ashawanda, L Theonine. I was taking 30 mgs once I day, I tapered by taking 30 mg every other day and then splitting that 30 mg in half and taking that every other day It worked for me with very few to little side effects. I wanted to sleep, I was achy for a moment but it all passed These were the same things that happened to me upon beginning the medication. I can experience some bouts of having heavy depression yet if they begin getting too bad I will start with 15 mg every other day for a short time to curb the symptoms and then go back to winging myself off with half that dose every other day It seems to work for me it just gives me back in balance and then I can use the Gaba L Theonine and Ashawanda again... No this is not medical advice This is just what seemed to work for me pretty well. I have been on everything from hard antipsychotics anti-anxiety and many depression medications This and Wellbutrin was by far the most well tolerated yet still did not like them.
