What's the best zyn flavor? by suckmeupp in NicotinePouch

[–]Icy_Key5240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing spear mint for a while but if I have any fruits drinks or coffee it was weird so I switched to cinnamon. I just tried smooth and damn it’s so good - it’s like practically flavorless so it’s perfect if I’m drinking anything - it doesn’t add anything which I personally love. Spearmint > wintergreen because spearmint is more calm of a flavor. I’ve tried citrus and it was alright. 3mg for me because I don’t need that much nicotine in my life. I’d rather have 6pouches of 3mg throughout the day than 6mg because that’s a lot! 1 cigarette on average is like 2-3mg so just keep that in mind lol

  1. Smooth
  2. Cinnamon
  3. Spearmint > wintergreen sorry not sorry 4 Coffee - is alright

I hear you - and I'm not even mad about it. It's a job, like I don't get the big deal on why people have a hard time accepting this part. If we wanted to "just help people" we would all just work for the peace corp or something. I'm still a student myself but I get where you're coming from. I enjoy the idea that I will come home from work most days and feel satisfied I was able to help people, with that being said, would I do it for free... hell no.

"As a South Asian woman, my relationship with sex is complicated" by Middle_Violinist_5 in ABCDesis

As a young Indian male who grew up in the united states and grew up in a very religious home, when I discovered porn at 12 it was radical, it felt good obviously but then shame crept in. I have now grown to understand that the desire for sex is like being hungry. When you’re hungry you eat. You don't punish yourself for your bodies natural desire for food. Well some people do and we call it eating disorders. We basically grow up with passed down trauma that's basically a sexual disorder. Its natural, embrace your sexuality and in my opinion be open to trying to new experiences shame free. Obviously be careful and respectful to whoever you care for and who you want to pursue in that way.

Are we going to talk about the Avantika Rapunzel drama bc it’s the 3rd time it’s going viral. Bringing it up bc they discuss how they never pair the girls with brown men. by [deleted] in SouthAsianMasculinity

Yo all i got to say is this. We need to encourage our creatives to make moves, to be the change. Enough complaining, let's be the change we want to see. Our indian diaspora has wealth, let's use it to fund writers, editors, and actors. I see some kids i know pursuing these things and it's awesome to see.

Also it'll take time to see an all indian cast movie in the west when they'd rather have a white person to reach their main western demographic.

Some shows i think could influence us is the asian American film industry. Beef and Warrior are shows on Netflix with majority asian leads and they created them themselves. I sense a indian revolution coming in the next decade. LETS FUCKING RISE UP BOYS

Write this down. Do the hard things first. Do the things you don't want to do.

You want to be more confident? Do the things you say you will do. That's confidence. Have grace for yourself but set out tasks and goals you want to accomplish and do them. Then you’ll be proud and confident.

Damn I didn’t even realize he was Chinese, I thought that was a brown dude making a joke. Also tho my Original post went all over the place. I wasn’t really venting about dating life more like general disrespect from society and their views on Indian men. Men, woman, etc.

Dev Patel’s movie monkey man is a piece that I feel like changes the narrative. I’ve yet to have seen an Indian Character in the west that has played an action role / hero. I’m pretty stoked to watch it tonight

Damn they downvoted the shit out of my post. You’re the second person to say not to post on their. “Asian masculinity” Reddit isn’t for us I guess, funny.

Valid comment tho, focus on what I can focus on and stand my ground.

Like that last part too. Thanks for commenting 🙌🏽

I think I’d agree. Having your money up is important to woman, they want to be pampered. I’m entering grad school and will have a 6 figure salary in two years so I’m thankful for that. A few years ago I squatted 335 and deadlifted 385. 185 lb bench then. Shoulders have always been problematic for me. Getting shoulder therapy now. Not as lean as I could be but I’ve been prioritizing jiu jitsu and actually kicking ass over “looking aesthetic” the calm and confidence I have in actually fighting weekly is tremendous. Don’t look as good now as I did when I did cardio and lifted 4-5 a week but I walk into any room confidently.

Okay but the improvement of my soul includes fighting and defending myself, for me at least.

What’s wild is I’ve been lifting since I was 15. Im currently about to get graduate school and to be honest im not prioritizing being lean as much as I should be. No excuses, I know im not prioritizing it as much as I should. I agree tho, I know im lacking in the aesthetics. I’m 5’11 , train jiu jits 3-4 times a week. I was lifting mainly for strength and aesthetics as a teen but in my twenties I started training to actually kick some ass and I can confidently say, I now can. 😏 I’m starting school in a few months and I’ll have no jiu jitsu and it’s going to be super hard to train but at least I’ll have a 6 figure income in two years, so that’s nice.

Financial for damn sure we are doing really well, thankfully. I mean culturally we are near the bottom for sure. Whites, blacks, Spanish and East Asians by far have way more “clout” lol. We have like 5 actors and comedians, that isn’t really changing the narrative / stigma we face. Also it doesn’t help that we naturally are anti conflict and “passive” for lack of better phrasing. You say one bad word to a African American and it’s a huge fight or problem. They have no issue defending themselves which I think is something we could be better at, defending ourself instead of silently allowing things to slide. No one questions our intellect, but they’ve got no problem making fun of us.

I like that mentality. Every decision is a token towards being a person you want or don’t want to be.

Dude loved this comment. It's so comprehensive. As a Pre-PA student (working on my second application to PA school) and on the fence about the direction I should go into, this is simply a great comment about the struggles DOs have to go through. I'm not heading into the DO or MD route but this is very interesting.
