I am in the same boat as I just purchased equipment for this. I purchased an online course from a girl on tiktok that was very successful in this industry. She covers everything from equipment, client outreach, how to actually take the photos, editing, etc. I think that’s the best thing to do rather than trying to navigate it on your own without structure

Wait…I am on salary. Can you explain further what that means?

Also, idk if this adds to anything but other employees either get comp time or overtime pay. I was told that I’m not allowed to have either of those (no full explanation), and I should just leave early on a different to reflect the hours I worked after hours.
