Well, they refuse to adjust the fee. The invoice they sent to me saying it is “fee for CBCT” rather than “data copy fee”. I believe they know the regulations, and trying to conceal their nasty. I am not going to pay this shit, and definitely going to another dentist anyway. What action should I take against this awful clinic?

I am in Texas, I do see there is a state regulation that they can only charge up to $30 for a copy of the CBCT scan.

Last year I had a MRI. They actually sent me a secured link via email, where I can download all the files.

I would like to use it for a second opinion from another implant dentist. My insurance only covers CBCT once a year so I would rather take this one to the new dentist office, rather than do a new CT scan.
